Do you see why this page is titled Creepy-Ass Swamp Pic? The thing that is certainly a stump or something, but sure as hell looks like some sorta little swamp troll in an overcoat?

Yeesh. Creepy-looking little sucker.

He took this pic back in May, but didn't notice the little guy until recently. He went back to take a closer look, but since that time the foliage has overgrown the area too much to be able to see. He's going to go back in a month or two, once all the greenery has died off, and take a follow-up pic.

If that "stump" is gone, I'm never setting foot in a Jersey swamp again. :-P
